New U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations imposed upon the controversial diabetes drug Avandia will prohibit local retail pharmacies to carry the medication due to a confirmed risk for heart attack and other cardiovascular complications.

This motion applies to three anti-diabetes drugs manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline, Avandia, Avandamet and Avandaryl, that contain rosiglitazone - a drug that increases sensitivity to insulin and removes extra glucose from blood.

Acetaminophen, the generic of Tylenol, is one of the most commonly used medications throughout the entire world. Now new research published by the Journal of Clinical Oncology suggests if you take the medication regularly your health could be at risk. Frequent and long-term acetaminophen users may have and increased risk of blood cancer, and this isn’t the first time the drug is under FDA scrutiny.

Researchers from the University of Washington gathered data from approximately 65,000 men and women participants, ranging from 50-76 years old. They determined that by 2008, participants who took acetaminophen for at least four days per week for four years were twice as likely to develop some form of blood cancer.

This time Toyota has recalled approximately 2.2 million vehicles to fix problems that could cause their autos to speed out of control.The massive recall is to replace vehicle floor mats that could attach to the accelerator, causing the pedals to stick in the full open position. The majority of affected vehicles are being added to a floor mat recall that was initiated in September 2009. Since then the car-maker has recalled more than 12 million cars throughout the entire world just for floor-mat interferences.
