There have been a vast number of medical complications experienced by women in the U.S.who have received a transvaginal mesh implant for repair of pelvic organ prolapse.

Recently, a transvaginal mesh warning was released by the committee on gynecological practice. Members of the committee include the American Urogynecologic Society and the American College of Gynecologists and Obstetricians, who have called for doctors to bind the use of transvaginal mesh products for the repair of organ prolapse.

In the past two years, over 1,500 women reported to the FDA with complications after the transvaginal mesh repair surgery. As much as 20% of transvaginal mesh cases have been known to cause complications.  Severe shrinkage of 50% was found in 10% of the cases after just the first three months.

If you or a loved one is now suffering from these problems including shrinkage or contraction of the mesh, erosion of the mesh into the vagina, infections, pelvic pain, urinary problems, vaginal scarring, and other complications please contact the law firm of Parilman & Associates today.  Parilman & Associates is a National Law Firm.

In many situations when someone is injured, simply obtaining an understanding of what that person’s legal rights and options are goes a long way towards moving towards a plan for resolution of the matter. Therefore, when people come to see the consumer advocate lawyers at Parilman & Associates because they have been injured, their initial consultation is free of charge.
